Studies of Alternative Art Community in Mandarine Asian Regions:
Hong Kong /Beijing /Singapore /Taiwan
亞洲華語地區另類藝術社群研究: 香港/北京/新加坡/臺灣

Considering it is a research-based project focused on a special topic: Alternative Art Community, we chose a significant photograph taken from the original Oil Street Artist Village, which was looking through a rusty window of an abandoned office near the main entrance. It was a sign reflecting the covered history in 1998, which would be reopened by the book and the project.
On the other hand, for attracting the media’s attention, we brought a feeling of “reappear the fading history” by idea of films, which has been carrying out an visual comparison in styles of the alternative art spaces: remained / revitalized monuments in Asian cities.
